Garden Passage - Karen Allen
The "Garden Passage" mural, created by artist Karen Allen, is a vibrant 12’ x 60’ painting adorning the entrance to the Sun River Health Center. Designed to warmly welcome visitors to the community health center, the mural features a colorful and flowing composition that remains visible at night through soft illumination along the walkway.
Completed in June 2019 with the help of 20 artist volunteers, the mural was the result of over a year of planning and preparation. Karen Allen, who holds a BFA in painting from Syracuse University, continues to explore large-scale public art projects, drawing from her intimate creative visions to produce works that bring beauty to public spaces.
